I’m going to tell you a story about gummy vitamins and theatre camp.
First off, I have to tell you that I 100% suck at taking my vitamins. It’s so silly. I know I feel better when I take them. I know they’re important, and I actually really care about those types of things. I am soooo good at coming up with excuses and, to be fair, it can be a little challenging because I have a certain window of time that I can take them, and if I miss it, then that’s it (it’s a not interesting story about thyroid meds and absorption–I’ll save you the long explanation). Anyway, the only way that I will actually be responsible about this sort of thing is when it becomes fun and enjoyable.
This is why I am over the moon for these Vitafusion MultiVites. Being a good friend, I decided to share the love around with some of my co-workers, and we’re all ridiculous theatre people so we now have official gummy vitamin time. I ring one of those desk bells, and we all get ridiculously goofy excited and take our vitamins together.
In fact, we all are a little bummed that this is only able to happen once a day. We’ve been considering buying fruit snacks (because these vitamins are delicious like fruit snacks!) just so that we can ring the bell and pretend more often. But I guess the unhealthy fruit snack would kinda defeat the purpose right?
(When my friends miss gummy vitamin time because they’re actually working, I send them videos…)
Even though they taste like candy, the MultiVites are filled with vitamins A, C, D (especially important for me since I have a deficiency!!) and many more. They are also flavored naturally so you’re not getting a bunch of nasty fake stuff with your healthy vitamins.
These babies are the perfect solution to my lack of desire to take vitamins–they make me feel like a little kid again, and they make taking better care of myself something I look forward to doing. There is no question I feel better as a whole, and you never get too old to want to feel like a kid again!
